Trailblazer Mohegan Sun
In her own words:
I am addicted to UGGs, milkshakes, and braiding my hair.
My sons name is Cooper, he is an Australian Shepherd and he will be three years old in April. When I’m not chasing squirrels with him I spend my free time collecting pennies, assembling jigsaw puzzles, and drawing Zentangle animals.
Before Cooper and before working at Trailblazer I went to school at Southern Connecticut State University in New Haven. I majored in Art Education and specialized in Art History. This past month I passed my national teaching exam and I am officially a certified teacher in CT but I am comfortably nestled in the stockroom at Mohegan Sun.
When I was a kid I planned on being a mermaid when I grew up, I spent most of my free time swimming in my pool. Once I realized that was not a profession, I settled on joining the swim team and continued swimming in college at SCSU. I specialized in long distance swimming and raced the mile which is an exciting 66 laps.
In 2009 I swam 15 miles across Long Island Sound from Long Island to Bridgeport to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness. I have competed in a few triathlons and recently completed a couple 5Ks this year even though I HATE running. So if anyone needs a swimmer for a triathlon relay… you know who to call.
