Denali Night Out – Branford
When: Thursday, May 18th, 2017 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Where: Denali Branford, 1004 Main Street
Cost: $5 Donation
Denali Night Out rolls into Branford in May for a fun evening benefiting Rockland Bike Park. We are teaming up with Patagonia to bring you a night out complete with beer from 30 Mile Brewing, wine from Votto Vines, and live entertainment from Branford’s very own Andrew Biagiarelli. It wouldn’t be a true Denali Night out if we didn’t have a raffle too. Not only does your $5 donation at the door go to Rockland Bike Park, so does all of the raffle ticket sales. Don’t be late, because the first 50 people in receive a free beer chalice.
About Rockland Bike Park
Rockland Bike Park is the vision of Madison area cyclists to evolve Rockland Preserve into a family-centered hub for healthy adventures. Rockland Preserve is home to 15 miles of the Singletracks of Rockland, which is the best singletrack mountain bike network in Connecticut and is a great place to observe nature, history, or hike, among other activities.
The plan to fundraise, build, and maintain several stages of development at the Route 79 entrance to Rockland Preserve. We have envisioned a master plan of a pump track, a bike skills area, and a natural element playground. We have a fundraising goal of $50,000 to cover materials and labor for the job. Much of the labor will be donated and this is a completely community organized project. This is a crowd-funded and crowd-built project for the families in Madison and surrounding towns to have a place to meet and develop healthy habits.
