Employee Spotlight: Danielle Capri
How would you describe yourself in 3 words?
What is your favorite outdoor activity and why?
Kayaking and hiking. There’s something so relaxing about floating in the water in a small boat. I enjoy hiking because I can view things from a higher perspective. There’s something exhilarating about getting to the top of a hill or mountain and being rewarded with a view.
What is your favorite piece of gear?
Honestly, my Camelbak Reservoir. I have the 2L and I tend to have it on me a lot. It forces me to make sure I stay hydrated.
What do you do in your free time?
Too many things! I dance, do yoga, get outside when I can. I’m also a board member of the Clinton Historical Society. I have my own photography/design business called Tiny Robot Studio (named after robot paintings I do). So it’s always something, and if it’s not one of those, I probably have a book in my hands or I’m at a venue watching live music.
What is one goal you would like to accomplish?
I want to be a published photographer.
Where is one place you’d like to travel to?
I want to go west. There are some great places in the Mid-West I have yet to explore, from the desert to the Rockies. I would also really love to go to Norway and Iceland.
What are some of your guilty pleasures?
Binge watching on anything on Netflix, it’s addicting.
If you had a superpower …
I would want to fly! It would be so cool to just levitate and fly away.
If you had an endless supply of food, what would it be?
Fajitas. I seriously love fajitas. I could also live off of bubble tea, but that’s not technically food.
What is your power animal?
A fox. I’ve been in love with them since I was a little girl. Still, get really excited every time I see one.
